SME’s Wetland Scientist position is full-time and includes, but is not limited to, the responsibilities listed below – to be practiced in the Four Corners area – at the interface of the Arid West and Western Mountains, Valleys and Coastal regions:

• Wetland delineations and monitoring;
• Vegetation surveys, including monitoring transects, habitat typing and mapping, special status plant surveys, and noxious weed mapping;
• Assisting with wetland design and planting plans;
• Writing reports and technical memorandums;
• Utilizing collected data and online data to generate maps using ArcGIS Pro;
• Assisting with environmental permitting, including but not limited to obtaining Clean Water Act Section 404 permits and 401 certifications;
• Endangered Species Act and NEPA support tasks, tbd.
