Pacific Habitat Services, Inc., is a 31-year-old environmental consulting company based in Wilsonville, Oregon. Our staff of twenty, provides consulting services to public and private clients throughout the Pacific Northwest, with a focus on work in Oregon and Washington. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced wetland scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wetland ecology, hydrology, soils, and Pacific Northwest plant identification. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting wetland delineations and assessments.
• Designing and implementing wetland restoration and mitigation projects.
• Writing technical reports and permit applications.
• Staying current with advancements in wetland science.
• Communicating project results and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s (B.A. or B.S.) degree in Biology, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in wetland science
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with GIS and GPS use preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to travel and perform field work.
