Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is currently seeking a Senior Wetland Scientist to join our growing team of professionals in our Abingdon, Maryland office. Join a dynamic group that supports both field and office tasks in the Natural Resource field throughout Maryland and surrounding states. As a member of GTA’s Natural Resource team, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, industrial, public and non-profit facility, energy generation facilities, and linear utility and transportation projects. Primary responsibilities as a member of GTA’s natural resource group will include a mix of field investigations, data analyses, technical report writing, and permit application preparation. Wetland scientist field work includes wetland assessments, wetland delineations, soil characterizations, habitat assessments and management, and monitoring mitigation sites. Mid- to senior-level scientists will coordinate with clients and engineers to prepare wetland delineation reports, forest conservation plans, and wetland permit applications. The desired candidate will also have experience with budgeting and project management, as well. Knowledge of state and federal wetland regulations, implementation, and guidance are required.

BENEFITS
Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000 per year. Salary commensurate with relevant experience.
