SWS Central Chapter 2024 Annual Meeting

Please join us for this year's SWS Central Chapter Annual Meeting at Audubon Center at Riverlands in West Alton, MO. We have two days planned with amazing presenters.

Agenda

Day 1 - Wednesday, October 2, 2024 (8:00 AM-4:00 PM) 

Featuring presentations by industry professionals and academics on a range of wetland-related topics. Our current list of speakers includes:

• Robert Cosgrill (USACE – Rivers Project Office)
• Renee Hahne (Ducks Unlimited)
• Zach Morris (Mitico/Land Learning Foundation)
• Eric Kurzejeski (Johnny Morris Institute of Fisheries, Wetlands, & Aquatic Systems)
• Carol Davit (Missouri Invasive Plant Council)

Day 2 - Thursday, October 3, 2024 (8:00 AM-4:00 PM)

Back by popular demand is a full-day workshop led by the Institute of Botanical Training. This workshop can be used to partially fulfill the criteria of the Society of Wetland Scientist's Professional Wetland Scientist certification.

Registration:

• Registration Fee: $130 (for both members and non-members).
• Capping registration is 40 participants.
• There is no registration deadline, but we do encourage your registration in advance for planning.

Traveling from out of town? The SWS Central Chapter has reserved a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn in Alton, IL (nightly rate: $139), available until September 8, so please get your room reserved. Be sure to mention the SWS Central Chapter meeting when you call.
