Hydric soils - Travis Richardson will lead a field assessment to teach attendees how to identify hydric soils. (10 am - 2 pm, minimum 10 people, $250) | |||
Hobcaw Barony Wetlands Tour - Visit the southern deepwater swamps in depressional settings and Strawberry Swamp (influenced by salinity impact). Free of charge, bring your lunch (10 am - 3 pm, no minimum, free to attend, responsible for own transportation) | |||
Black River Cypress Preserve, Guided Kayak Tour - Take a guided kayak tour along the Black River Cypress Preserve, a privately-owned nature preserve located on the South Carolina Black Scenic River. (10 am - 4pm, minimum 6 people, $120 fee, responsible for transportation to and from Black River Cypress Preserve) | |||
