Lecturer at the Autonomous University of Baja California Sur, Mexico. My PhD thesis was about a comprehensive assessment of mangroves in Baja California Sur. I have over 18 years of experience in environmental resource management working for NGOs, consultancies, and government. About my training, I am a marine biologist and I did master studies at the VU Amsterdam. Currently, I am a member of Advisory Board of Young ES Specialists (YESS)-Ecosystem Services Partnership (ESP).
